Significant snow totals hit the PNW and most northern Rockies on Sunday morning. Several more feet are expected for Oregon while moisture drops south over the Sierra late Sunday night. Storm cycle totals are 2-8" across all mountains, and an additional 1-5" is expected through the day on Saturday with the second phase to keep conditions soft. Dress for cold temperatures and wind chills on Saturday!

For the rest of this week, a cold front moving across the Central Rockies will bring showers & t-storms to WY, CO, & NM Wed-Thu while the West Coast states will see a late-season heat wave. Next week, isolated to scattered showers & t-storms develop across the West with continued mild temps. Heading into mid-month, the PNW will trend wetter and cooler.
