A new storm in the PNW on Saturday will crank out 20-50 inches, with the highest totals in Oregon. Idaho, MT, Tetons seem favored next for the leftovers. A new storm moves into the Sierra early next week and pushes east.
An active pattern will continue across the West with multiple strong storms expected this weekend and next week. All major ski regions from the Southwest to Canada are favored. The East will remain in a spring-like pattern with rain expected on Sunday.
No signs of snow are in this forecast with spring weather continuing across the Mid-Atlantic. The next storm will move a few rain showers into the western Mid-Atlantic on Saturday. On Sunday, more rain showers will develop with several thunderstorms that could bring severe winds. This storm will clear by Monday with cool air and significant warming by Tuesday, March 18.
