High pressure will dominate from December 4th to the 8th. Hopes for the December 9-10 storm continue to fade as all trends push most precipitation to the north of New Mexico. Overall the next 7-10 days look quiet and some of this could be attributed to Typhoon Michaung halfway around the world! We could be looking at a very dry first half of December before a possible pattern shift .

Warmer air arriving early this week will result in heavy rain across the Northwest, before colder air and snow return later this week. In the East, a storm is producing snow across New England on Monday, and the Mid-Atlantic will see a shot of snow this week, too.
