Snow is falling at a high intensity over Utah on Thursday morning. SW flow favored Deer Valley, Powder Mountain, and BCC. Snow totals will climb on Thursday in both Utah and Colorado. This will be a shorter-than-average chase update. There are many choices.

There will be some powder turns for first chair on Thursday, mainly in the South Shore Lake Superior region. A warming trend kicks off this weekend into early next week, with spring-like conditions on the slopes.

The storm door has opened across the West with new storms making landfall every 2-3 days for the foreseeable future. Storms will initially favor the Sierra and Central/Southern Rockies from Wednesday to Friday, followed by a lull over the Western U.S. this weekend while Western Canada will see more snow. Next week, snow is likely throughout Western North America.
