A couple of sunny days to round out the rest of our drier period will be in store for Tuesday & Wednesday. By Thursday strong winds and clouds will let us know that he storm is on our doorstep. Extremely heavy snowfall will begin by Thursday night and last through Saturday night. We'll see totals in the mult-foot range. Next week we could see more active weather.

After the showers wrap up later today we're looking at several drier days between Wednesday & Friday. A nice little snowstorm will come through on Friday night into early Sunday to refresh our base. Next week we should see cooler weather and a potential for more storms.

24-hour snow totals are very respectable for the Tetons and areas of Utah on Tuesday morning. Additional snow heavy at times is likely for Colorado on Tuesday with strong winds and low visibility (Light-density snow). The PNW gets crushed in the next 36 hours.

Multiple strong storms will bring heavy snow to much of the West over the next week with the Northwest being favored for the deepest totals. Strong winds can also be expected at times. The East will see a milder pattern with mostly rain and only light snow opportunities.
