A storm brought moderate to heavy snow to the Northwest and New England over the weekend. Over the next few days, the Rockies will only see light snow as a storm moving across the West falls apart. The East will see a big warm-up with rain on Monday-Tuesday followed by a changeover back to snow on Wednesday as colder air arrives.

Temps dropped as forecasted late Saturday, and snow is still falling in the PNW. Weakening waves are entering Montana and Wyoming on Sunday morning. Colorado will get teased with light scraps on Monday/Tuesday. The Cascades will end up in the 10-15 inch range by 10 AM on Sunday.

Mostly sunny days continue through Thursday, with some clouds possibly increasing on Friday. Friday night into Saturday we could see some rain and snow in the northern Sierra. Another storm is possible for Monday the 16th. We could be on the edge of a wetter pattern starting around the 20th.
