A ridge of high pressure is resulting in warm & dry conditions for most of the West this week. The main exception is for areas east of the Continental Divide in WY, CO, & NM where cooler temps & showers/t-storms are expected. Early next week, a large trough will deepen over the West, bringing a few days of cooler & wetter conditions to most of the region.

It's the last post of the 2024-25 season. I'll give some final season snowfall stats and provide a little insight as to why our winter panned out the way it did. Looking forward to my next season forecasting for you all in the fall of 2025!

This will be my final chase powder post for the 24/25 season. It has been an epic season in many areas, including northern Vermont and many northern/Central Rockies, Sierra, and Alaska spots.
