Confidence is high as models continue to pump out 24 plus inches for the Sierra with great overnight timing. The trend continues to push moisture south over the Four Corners where decent totals land. The northern areas towards Utah are trending down slightly, however 9-14 inches is still on tap. Colorado favors southern and western areas. Tetons and MT get the slow train. PNW also fires!
A series of storms will impact the West over the next 1-2 weeks with significant snowfall expected in many areas. The first storm on Wednesday-Thursday will have far-reaching impacts with heavy snow from Canada to Arizona, while Tahoe and Mammoth are in line for the deepest snow totals.
Temperatures will drop back following a cold front on Tuesday night, but be quick to rebound through the week with warm weather returning by this weekend. Saturday looks dry, but Sunday will be wet. Take a look.
