Another big storm brought significant snow on Tuesday to mainly northern Utah mountains. Two weak waves will bring chances for light snow in northern Utah Thursday and Saturday. Overall, we see quieter weather next week.

The Cottonwoods and areas of Park City, Parleys Summit, grabbed cold air and the perfect NW winds that cranked out impressive totals. 2 Feet fell in the Cottonwoods. Moisture streamed into Colorado favoring the resorts from Telluride to Steamboat with leftovers stretching east over the I-70 corridor. Cascades fire next.

Two more storms will impact the West from Wednesday to Saturday with snow favoring the Northwest and the Rockies, and snow conditions will remain excellent. A significant warming trend will begin on Sunday, however. In the East, snow is in the forecast for New England this weekend and early next week.
