Dry and mild weather will continue for the rest of this week. We will have cooler temps to finish the weekend and breezy conditions later in the week. All eyes turn towards the active pattern that begins next week for areas to our North. We'll have to see if we can get moisture and precip, but odds are snow levels will be an issue.

Mostly sunny and mild days through Wednesday, with increased clouds and winds Wednesday afternoon. An unsettled pattern starts Wednesday night with rain & snow showers possible through Friday night. A break Saturday before more storms are possible by Sunday into the first week of April.

An upper-level ridge will bring warm spring conditions to the Western US to start this week as a colder storm system in the Eastern US brings light snow to the northern tiers. Spring in the West will be brief with a large storm system at the end of the week that will bring initial warm air and rain to the Northwest, but backside cold air with lowering snow levels and snow into the weekend.

For the rest of this week, a cold front moving across the Central Rockies will bring showers & t-storms to WY, CO, & NM Wed-Thu while the West Coast states will see a late-season heat wave. Next week, isolated to scattered showers & t-storms develop across the West with continued mild temps. Heading into mid-month, the PNW will trend wetter and cooler.
