Dry weather through early Thursday will then yield to a storm that will bring the chance for some modest snow totals late Thursday into Friday. Another storm or two is possible later this weekend into next week, but questions remain on how strong these systems will be for us in Utah.

An active pattern is setting up for the Sierra Range, with one moderate cold storm on Thursday and a wetter but warmer storm due Friday PM/Saturday. Moisture streams north into the Pacific Northwest and BC, with some decent totals later this weekend. Leftovers favor Idaho and Wyoming, as most moisture stays north of Utah and Colorado, which grab lower totals. The extended has some hope!

A storm brought moderate to heavy snow to the Northwest and New England over the weekend. Over the next few days, the Rockies will only see light snow as a storm moving across the West falls apart. The East will see a big warm-up with rain on Monday-Tuesday followed by a changeover back to snow on Wednesday as colder air arrives.
