Snow showers continue today (Friday) as the core of the low pressure system passes through the state. A drier, but still somewhat cool weekend on tap before we see a weak brush-by system again for Monday. Next week generally looks to features chances for day time showers on each day.

Snow is falling over the Colorado mountains Friday morning, favoring the eastern Divide resorts as forecasted. Montana has grabbed 15-20 inches near Red Lodge in the past seven days (it is Open today). Utah grabbed 7 inches of wet snow Thursday, followed by some cold blow on Friday morning.

A storm remains on track for the Rockies late this week with heavy snow expected in the Thursday to Saturday timeframe. A weaker storm will bring more snow to the Northwest and Northern Rockies this weekend and early next week. New England will see warmer temperatures with occasional rain.
