Sunshine and spring skiing conditions will continue on Friday, followed by more unsettled conditions this weekend as a trough deepens over BC and Alberta. This will open the door to colder air and showers to enter the picture with a weak wave on Sat, followed by a stronger wave Sun-Mon that will favor the Eastern Interior. Revelstoke will have some fresh snow for closing day on Mon.

Snow is falling over the Colorado mountains Friday morning, favoring the eastern Divide resorts as forecasted. Montana has grabbed 15-20 inches near Red Lodge in the past seven days (it is Open today). Utah grabbed 7 inches of wet snow Thursday, followed by some cold blow on Friday morning.

A storm remains on track for the Rockies late this week with heavy snow expected in the Thursday to Saturday timeframe. A weaker storm will bring more snow to the Northwest and Northern Rockies this weekend and early next week. New England will see warmer temperatures with occasional rain.
