Colorado Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Colorado Daily Snow

Saturday afternoon update ...

So, nothing is happening today.

The models insisted there would be enough moisture and storm energy in northern Colorado to make a few inches of snow today. The reality is much different with just flurries over the higher peaks. The heavier snow is 100 miles further north in southern Wyoming.

Since the models obviously have no clue what's going on, I will not trust their forecast for a few inches of snow on Saturday night, and I dropped the forecast to just a few flurries up to an inch late this afternoon and again tonight.

The next chance of snow is still slated for Tuesday and Tuesday night across northern Colorado. Then all of Colorado will see a storm Thursday into Friday and another Saturday into Sunday.

What a bummer of a weekend for northern Colorado with the forecast going from possible powder days to just flurries. Let's hope the next few systems come through as predicted.
