Partnership Policy

This Partnership Policy exists because we choose to work with partners that to the best of our knowledge are respectful, kind, non-discriminatory, provide a solid product, and are knowledgeable about their business or trade.

Partners will likely promote products or ideas that are beyond the scope of our partnership.

We want to be clear that partner endorsements of 3rd party products or views do not represent an endorsement by OpenSnow.

WHO IS COVERED BY THE POLICY?

This policy covers all partners (advertisers, athletes, ambassadors, etc.) working at all levels and in any capacity with OpenSnow and its subsidiaries.

RESPONSIBILITY OF PARTNERS

All partners are responsible for their own compliance with this policy and for ensuring that it is consistently applied. All partners should ensure that they take the time to read and understand it. Questions regarding the content or application of this policy should be directed to [email protected].

SOCIAL MEDIA

Social media enables OpenSnow to promote the OpenSnow brand, share weather & event information, share links to articles, attract new customers, and to promote key services.

SOCIAL MEDIA POLICY

When posting on social media to promote OpenSnow, partners are expected to:

Be respectful and kind toward others and their opinions.

Not post or forward a link to any abusive, discriminatory, harassing, derogatory, defamatory, or inappropriate content.

Never disclose commercially sensitive, anti-competitive, private, or confidential information.

Never post material in breach of OpenSnow copyright or other intellectual property rights without permission.

Be honest and open. Be mindful of the impact the contribution might make to people’s perceptions of OpenSnow.

Avoid social media communications that might be misconstrued in a way that could in any way damage OpenSnow’s reputation, even indirectly.

If you have disclosed your affiliation as a partner of OpenSnow, ensure that your profile and any content you post are consistent with the professional image you present to clients and colleagues.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP

OpenSnow or the partner can end the partnership if we or they feel that either party is not representing the other in a responsible and honest way, or if endorsements of 3rd party products or views seem to be endorsed by OpenSnow.

AUDIENCE FAQ

The following points are for OpenSnow’s audience and registered subscribers to consider:

Partners pay us to promote their products and services and we pay partners to promote our product, and these monetary relationships only exist because first and foremost, we and the partner believe in the value of the product, service, or experience.

Any advertising or promotion seen on OpenSnow does not mean that OpenSnow endorses that position.

Any advertising or promotion of OpenSnow by a partner does not mean that OpenSnow endorses other positions by that partner.

If you notice a partner seen on OpenSnow or promoting OpenSnow in a way that is disrespectful, discriminatory, or discussing the science of weather in a false way, please let us know at [email protected].
