Update

Clear skies are streaming overhead on Saturday morning as we await the arrival of our next round of snow beginning on Saturday night. Temperatures will top out in the mid-to-upper 20s before quickly falling through Saturday night.

The fun will begin late Saturday night as the storm dives into Colorado from the north and brings cold temperatures and periods of light to moderate snow through Sunday night.

The brunt of this system will focus on areas east of the Eisenhower Tunnel through Denver but Breckenridge will still be looking at 2-5 inches. Sunday evening will be the time to watch for the heaviest snow so aim for Monday morning if you're looking for soft(ish) turns.

Following the bulk of the snow through Sunday night, very cold temperatures will settle in for Monday. Temperatures will fall below 0F on Sunday night and only rise into the single-digits to low teens on Monday. Bundle up!

Following the fun on Sunday and Monday, mild and dry conditions will be the forecast through next weekend and into Thanksgiving week, with temps rising into the upper 20s to low 30s each day.

Looking further ahead, the longer-range models are hinting at storminess around Thanksgiving but we'll have to wait and see. Our snowpack is currently at 254% of average so enjoy the great early November conditions and stay tuned for the next storm cycle.

Thanks for reading and look for my next update on Sunday, November 11th.
