Snow Forecast

View → 10-Day Snow Forecast

Monday started off with low clouds and mid-mountain temps in the teens. The low clouds will continue to hang around throughout the rest of the day as temps climb into the 20s. The sun will make an appearance from time-to-time.

Sunny skies and gusty winds follow for Tuesday. Mid-mountain temps will reach into the upper 20s to low 30s, though winds gusting to 30-50 MPH will be a slight annoyance.

Wednesday will start out sunny and dry as our next round of snow has been delayed to Wednesday night. Look for temps to climb into the 20s as clouds increase during the second half of the day.

Our next round of snow will then arrive on Wednesday night and deliver anywhere from a dusting to 1-2 inches. The groomer should be nice on Thursday night but this will not be enough to freshen up most of the mountain.

The storm will quickly exit Colorado by Thursday morning. We'll likely remain under partly to mostly cloudy skies on Thursday, along with temps only reaching into the teens.

Extended Forecast

Following the cold and dry day on Thursday, additional chances for snow will follow from Friday through next Monday, March 1st. Based on the latest analysis this morning, snow totals still look generally light. Fingers-crossed that these storms trend stronger as we get within the 3-day window.

Looking further ahead, we may be entering "cut off" season as storms break loose from the main flow of weather. This is due to the jet stream shifting back into its spring and eventually, summer position, and as that happens, it can get very wonky. There are still two solid months of the snow season left so don't worry my friends, we still have plenty of opportunities to enjoy fresh turns.

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for daily updates!
