Monday - Thursday

Light snow showers will be the story through Monday evening as any heavy snowfall should remain to our north through at least Monday afternoon. Temps will also be mild on Monday with highs in the upper 20s on the mountain.

The action will then ramp up beginning on Monday night as A LOT of moisture, good jet stream support, and a cold front settle in over northern/central Colorado. This should fire up short bursts of heavy to intense snowfall through Tuesday and a total of 4-8+ inches. 

Following a slight break on Wednesday with more off-and-on snow showers, we should receive one more round of moderate snowfall from late Wednesday through Thursday morning. I'll be looking for 3-6 inches during this time.

Enjoy the fresh snow on Thursday morning ahead of dry weather moving in on Thursday afternoon.

Friday & Beyond

Friday "should" be our first fully dry and sunny day in quite some time.

As of now, after the snow clears out on Thursday afternoon, dry conditions will take over for Friday and possibly into Saturday. Temps will climb into the 20s under sunny skies on Friday before increasing cloud coverage moves in for Saturday.

We'll then be tracking another round of snowfall around Sunday, December 11 and into Monday, December 12. This storm continues to look interesting so keep an eye on next Monday, December 12 for freshies.

Looking even further ahead, we could catch another slight break during the middle of next week ahead of even more snowfall as we enter the second half of December. What a great way to start the season.
