Snow Report

Sunday - Monday

We'll now settle into mostly quiet weather for the next 10 days. Even though we won't receive significant snow this week, there will be two chances for light accumulations.

The first chance for light snow will slide over northern Colorado on Sunday and into Monday as a plume of moisture streams over the northern half of the state. This could bring anywhere from a dusting to maybe 1-2 inches.

Tuesday - Thursday

We'll then be tracking a storm that will swirl near southern Colorado from Tuesday through Thursday. I don't think this will provide much in terms of snowfall and really only partly to mostly cloudy skies at times.

Daytime highs will climb into the 20s, with overnight lows in the teens. This is good news to further help snowmaking efforts on the mountain.

Friday & Beyond

Looking further ahead, sunny skies and milder temps will return on Friday, December 15, and will likely continue through at least Monday, December 18. I was optimistic that we could receive our next chance for significant snow around December 18-20 but that is quickly disappearing.

We'll just have to stay patient and be thankful that there's more terrain opening from the recent snowfall and that there's a low December sun angle, which should keep the snow quality in good shape.

Thanks for reading! Next update on Monday.
