High-Pressure in Control through Family Day Weekend
Summary
48-hour snowfall favored the upslope friendly resorts with 20 cm at Castle Mountain, and 12 cm at Nakiska. The SkiBig3 resorts picked up lighter amounts 5 – 10 cm. High-pressure ridging, along with a northerly flow will keep dry and cool conditions into Friday morning. A S/SW flow develops Friday warming temps back to seasonal, and even above seasonal through the Family Day weekend.
