Active Weather Ahead with an Upslope Storm Brewing...

Summary

An Alaskan low and associated cold front moves in from the NW on Weds with cool and snowy skies persisting through Fri. Easterly winds also develop Weds PM bringing upslope snowfall to Nakiska and Castle with 15 – 30 cm likely by Fri AM. Lesser amounts for the SkiBig3. As the trough slowly digs south off the US coast it will keep the Rockies under a cool and unsettled pattern through the weekend.
