Snowfall Continues, South Alberta Rockies to get Walloped!

Summary

As of 7 AM Friday, 48-hour snowfall amounts of 13 cm at Sunshine, 12 cm at Lake Louise, 10 cm at Norquay, and 9 cm at Nakiska continue to add to the early season snowpacks. Snow picks up again on Friday and extends overnight, tapering to flurries on Saturday. Storm totals of 10 – 20 cm for most resorts by Sunday AM. Castle gets hammered with 50 cm+. Clearing Sunday, then cold and dry next week.
