Canadian Rockies Daily Snow

By Bob Ambrose, Forecaster Posted 18 hours ago December 3, 2024

Pleasant Days Above the Clouds / Potential for Weekend Snow

Summary

A dominant high-pressure ridge will be over the Rockies through Friday, bringing valley inversions, pleasant alpine days, and warming temperatures. The ridge flattens Friday PM, allowing a Pacific storm to ride into the region, bringing chances of light snowfall through Sunday. This storm will be warmer, but snow levels should be below base lodge elevations. Ridging likely returns next week.
