Thursday Recap

I hope many of you were able to get out and enjoy the amazing snow on Thursday. I was skiing Vail and the snow was "max fluff" quality. It really doesn't get much better than this...

Friday - Saturday

Another wave of light to moderate snow fell on Thursday night. Periods of light snowfall and great conditions will continue to be the story on Friday and into Saturday. Bundle up and enjoy!

For travel, slick and snow-packed road surfaces will continue through Saturday afternoon. Periods of heavy traffic will also be encountered along westbound I-70 so give yourself plenty of extra travel time.

Sunday

We should then catch a very short break on Sunday, along with warmer temperatures. This break will be short lived though as yet another system will be in the works for Sunday night!

Sunday Night - Monday

A very cold and slightly stronger storm will push into northern Colorado on Sunday night and into Monday. Expect periods of moderate snowfall and temperatures only in the single digits to low teens on Monday. The conditions will still be great so again, bundle up and enjoy!

Extended Forecast

Later Next Week & Beyond

Following the multiple waves of snow through Monday, we should see the pattern transition and mostly dry conditions prevail through later next week. We'll then be watching for stronger storms to return during the first weekend of February.

As always, keep an eye on our 1-10 day forecasts for each mountain along I-70 and right here for the latest updates.
