Avalanches & Intense Snowfall
Summary
Scattered showers on Wednesday. Intense snowfall on Wednesday night and into Thursday morning. Lingering snow on Thursday night and into Friday, followed by another round of heavy snowfall on Friday afternoon/evening and into Saturday morning. Yet another storm in the works for March 12th through the 14th. Dry weather settles in for the third week of March. Snow tires and AWD/4WD are recommended if you're traveling along the I-70 mountain corridor from Wednesday through Saturday, March 9th. Keep a close eye on CDOT for the latest travel alerts due to possible accidents and road closures.
