Summary

The snow machine will ramp back up on Friday afternoon and deliver heavy to intense snowfall through Friday night and into Saturday. More double-digit totals likely along the corridor. Snow showers continue on Sunday and Monday ahead of another round of heavy snowfall through the middle of next week, March 12th through the 14th. Dry weather settles in from March 15th through about the 20th. Snow tires and AWD/4WD are recommended if you're traveling along the I-70 mountain corridor through Thursday, March 14th. Keep a close eye on CDOT for the latest travel alerts due to accidents and avalanche mitigation work. Road closures likely on Friday and/or Saturday morning.
