Summary

Very heavy to intense snow through Wednesday evening. Light to moderate snow continues into Thursday morning. Clearing follows through Thursday night and leads us into a period of dry weather through early next week. Chances for snow return around Thursday, March 21st. Stronger storms possible during the final week of March and into early-April. Snow tires and AWD/4WD are recommended if you're traveling along the I-70 mountain corridor through Thursday. Keep a close eye on CDOT for the latest travel alerts due to accidents and more avalanche mitigation work on Thursday and Friday.
