View → 10-Day Snow Forecast

We enjoyed beautiful weather over the Thanksgiving weekend, with sunny skies and temps climbing into the upper 30s to low 40s each day. Even though we all want snow in the forecast, I'm thankful that every resort along I-70 is now open for daily operations.

We'll now continue to receive much of the same over the next five days. The storm track just won't shift further south from Canada. The only regions in the United States that will receive any type of natural snowfall will be in Upper Midwest and New England.

For temperatures, expect daytime highs in the upper 30s to low 40s from Monday through Friday, with overnight lows in the 20s. Borderline for overnight snowmaking but crews should still be able to get it done.

Travel Forecast

Dry road surfaces and normal travel speeds will continue through at least Saturday, December 4. No travel impacts are expected.

Our next chance for travel impacts will arrive around Tuesday, December 7.

Extended Forecast

Looking further ahead, dry weather will likely continue through the upcoming weekend of December 4/5 ahead of changes early next week. We've gone from seeing nothing in the extended forecast to "something" around Tuesday, December 7.

This will be our next chance at accumulating snowfall so again, stay patient and we'll see how the models trend this week. We're just heading into December and it will only take a solid storm or two to get a lot more terrain open.

Thanks for reading! Next update on Wednesday (12/1).
