Easter Weekend Storm chances Weakened… blame it on that Rascally Rabbit! UPDATED 3/29 @ 4PM

Summary

A NW flow aloft will keep sporadic snow showers and seasonably cool temps in the forecast through late Friday for both sides of the Divide. Late Friday afternoon a “moderating” Arctic cold front will sweep into Montana meeting up with moisture driven in by a weakening low-pressure system circulating in British Columbia. Light snow with light to moderate snow accumulations through Saturday afternoon in the 4-8” range will affect mainly the NW (Whitefish), Central (Showdown, GD) and SW (Big Sky, Bridger) sub-regions of the Treasure state. Snow picks up again Sunday afternoon on both sides of the Divide and lasts well into Monday with another several inches likely by days end. Enjoy these last few weeks of this incredible season with more Spring freshies!
