Saturday Update … it will be a FINE Easter at Bridger!

Summary

Saturday morning observations have Bridger Bowl marked as the place to be in Montana this Easter weekend. 5” overnight and a few inches this morning so far (and it’s still snowing) have made for lots of happy snow-riders at BB. The Arctic air stalled just north of I-90 right over Bridger as a narrow stationary front developed. Not quite the Bridger Cloud but we can call it a mini-cloud I guess! Just 40 miles south, Big Sky reported no new snow overnight and it’s sunny this morning. Over on the Westside the cold air made it to Whitefish and Blacktail but the moisture did not – well, Blacktail did receive a quick 2” where Whitefish got skunked. Disco is worth mentioning as they also received 2” overnight. Cold temps about 20 degrees colder than average will be felt today and through this weekend across most of Montana’s mountain regions. With no crowds and lots of powder – I think I’m heading to BB!
