The Storm Door Opens…with 4-8” through Friday across the Treasure State

Summary

A large low-pressure system moving through the Great Basin will spin bits of energy into the Northern Rockies on Thursday into Friday resulting in moderate snow amounts on both sides of the Divide. A similar system with slightly warmer air will move in on Sunday into Monday and looks to repeat the process. An unsettled long-term forecast keeps the storm door open into the foreseeable future.
