Stormy Weekend Ahead!

Summary

The NW areas of the Westside look to pick up a few, to several inches of wet snow Friday night/Saturday before the entire Northern Rockies get clobbered Saturday night through Monday by an arctic airmass. Storms like this trouble me a bit as I’ve seen these “Big” arctic air/Pac moisture combo’s fizzle out many times in the past, especially along the Westside. That said, I gotta go with the latest weather model consistencies that predict storms totals anywhere from 8-16” across all of Montana’s mountains by Monday evening.
