Cold, Cold, Cold Smoke

Summary

The first arctic cold front brought 24-hour snowfall of 4-6” to Whitefish and Snowbowl, with 12” at Lookout Pass. The next storm system, a moist Pacific flow will interact with a second, and much colder arctic front Tuesday into Wednesday bringing deep snow totals across West Central and NW Montana’s mountain areas, with moderate snow amounts for most areas east of the Divide.
