Summary

High-pressure weakens Weds as a shortwave rides into the Northern Rockies. An inch or two is likely west of the Divide, with 2 – 5” east of the Divide. Dry on Thurs. A stronger shortwave arrives Fri PM and extends into Sun. Light to moderate accumulations for many, with Big Sky, Bridger, and Showdown possibly seeing significantly deep storm totals. A dry pattern then follows through Thurs 1/16.
