Light Snow Thurs PM - Fri / Arctic Cold over the Weekend

Summary

High-pressure flattens on Thurs PM as a Gulf of Alaska shortwave rides out of BC, bringing periods of light snowfall across the Montana Rockies through Fri. Most locations will see anywhere from 1 – 4” by midnight Fri. Also, on Fri, an Arctic cold front will move into the Northern Rockies out of Alberta, starting an extended period of the coldest weather we have seen this winter through next Weds.
