Snow Tapers Off Friday / Cold & Dry Weekend

Summary

Another Canadian cold front moving north to southwest overnight Thurs has brought back upslope snowfall to the Central and SW mountains. Showdown, digging out of 15” over the past two days, will add 24-hour totals of 5 – 7”. Big Sky, Bridger, and Red Lodge, around 3 – 5” thru Fri PM. Arctic temps return Fri – Sun. High-pressure then builds on Sat and amplifies and warms Sun through midweek.
