Steamboat Daily Snow

Update
Saturday morning temperatures on the open trails are in the 20s to low 30s. During the day, readings should stay in the 30s and maybe get into the low 40s depending on the amount of sunshine that we see.
On Saturday afternoon, a weak storm will brush northern Colorado and this system should deliver a few snowflakes. My expectation is for just a dusting of snow, but maybe we’ll get lucky and a stronger squall could deliver an inch or so of accumulation. Yes, all this talk about a dusting of snow is kinda ‘much ado about not much’ though I like to celebrate even a few flakes, especially since we’ve seen dry weather for two weeks.
Looking ahead, two storms will move close to or over Colorado during the final two weeks of November.
The first storm should bring a chance for snow from Wednesday, November 20 to Saturday, November 23. And a second storm should bring snow during the week of Thanksgiving.
Snow amounts for both systems may on the low or moderate end of the scale, but every flake counts and it’ll be fun to end November with multiple storms in the forecast.
Thanks for reading and check back each morning for daily updates!
