The best chance for snow will be late in the week

Summary

Monday and Tuesday will be dry, we could see a few flakes during the middle of the week, and then more snow is possible on Friday.

Update

Sunday was a gorgeous day with mostly sunny skies, comfortable temperatures in the 20s and 30s, and a mix between soft snow and grippy snow.

Now on Monday morning, we are once again waking up to clear skies with temperatures that are warmer up on the hill and colder at the base. Monday will be mostly sunny with a high temperature of around 30 degrees.

Tuesday will also be dry, we'll see more clouds, and temperatures will be cooler with a high in the 20s.

From later Wednesday through Thursday, a weak storm will bring more clouds and maybe some light snowfall, though I am NOT expecting much accumulation. Temperatures will be cooler on Wednesday and Thursday with highs in the teens.

Our best chance for accumulating snow this week will be on Friday into Friday evening when a storm tracking through Colorado from the north and northeast could deliver more meaningful snowfall. If this happens, the timing of the freshest turns could be during the day on Friday.

Looking further ahead, we could see another chance for snow around January 25-27. Then, around the end of January and beginning of February, it is likely that the current weather pattern, which is unfavorable for a lot of snow, will flip to a new weather pattern, which will be more favorable for a lot of snow.
