End of the cycle

Summary

The snow is over (for now) and we'll look ahead to at least four dry days with lots of sunshine.

Update

On Monday, we saw snow during the morning and midday with about 4 inches at mid-mountain. Then the narrow band of snow moved to the south of the mountain and no additional snow fell on Monday afternoon or Monday night.

Now on Tuesday morning, the sun is shining and the temperature is very cold with readings between about -15°F to -30°F across the mountain. Brr! We should warm up into the single digits above zero today, and the sun will do its best to warm up the air, but it will be a chilly day.

For Wednesday, we'll have warmer temperatures in the teens with partly cloudy skies, Thursday will be warmer with a high in the 20s and mostly sunny skies, and Friday will be warmer still with a high temperature close to 30°F with thin clouds filtering the sunshine.

Our next chances for snow will be on Friday night into Saturday (a weak storm), on Sunday night into Monday (a stronger storm), then maybe around February 10, and again around February 12-14.
