Storms for a week

Summary

On Saturday we enjoyed deep powder, and there is more snow coming up!

Update

Saturday was a super fun powder day with deep, fluffy snow.

Sunday will bring a mix of weather with some drier periods, some snowflakes in the air, and maybe light accumulation. Temperatures will be in the teens. A storm will be tracking to the south of Colorado, which is not an ideal track to bring us a lot of snow.

Monday will be another mixed day with some breaks of sunshine, some clouds, and lingering snow showers behind the storm. The high temperature will be in the single digits.

Tuesday should be a break between storms, but the latest forecast models show that snow could return sooner than I earlier expected and we might see light accumulations during the day. The high temperature will be in the teens.

Wednesday will likely have 4-10+ inches of powder from snow that falls on Tuesday night and additional snow that should continue throughout the day on Wednesday. The high temperature will be in the single digits.

Thursday and Friday will bring additional chances for snow, but I have low confidence in the details, so we'll wait at least another day before figuring this out. Temperatures will remain cold with a high in the single digits.

Saturday, January 13 to Tuesday, January 16 should bring additional chances for snow, but again, I have low confidence in the details, so we'll hold off on figuring this out for at least another day or two. This is the MLK holiday weekend, and snow conditions should be good, and also keep in mind that driving could be difficult at times due to snow and holiday crowds.
