Spring for now, then snow returns on Saturday night

Summary

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday will be mostly dry with lots of sunshine and warm temperatures. Then on Saturday night, snow will return, and we should see snow for most of next week.

Update

Tuesday

Tuesday was another gorgeous day with sunny skies and warm temperatures that rose into the 30s and low 40s across the mountain.

Wednesday and Thursday

Wednesday and Thursday will continue to be mostly sunny and warm with a high temperature in the 30s to low 40s. There is a low chance that we'll see a few afternoon showers, though these should stay to the south and east of us. Enjoy springtime in the Rockies!

Friday & Saturday

On Thursday night, a fast-moving storm could deliver a dusting to an inch of snow. Then Friday and Saturday will be mostly dry with some clouds filtering the sunshine and gusty winds on Saturday. Daytime temperatures will remain warm and will rise into the 30s.

Snow Returns

From Saturday night to next Thursday, March 28, I expect cooler temperatures and multiple periods of snow. This could be a situation where snow conditions soften and deepen over multiple days rather than one day being the big/deep powder day. Total snowfall during these 4-5 days could be 10-20 inches and I hope to be able to narrow down the timing of the snowfall closer to the storm.

Looking far into the future, it now appears that our break from the snow will be around the weekend of March 30-31, and then the next storm will be possible around Monday, April 1 to Wednesday, April 3.

My next update will be Thursday morning.
