Steamboat Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Steamboat Daily Snow

Monday was a sunny but chilly day with high temperatures only reaching about 10F at the summit, and Tuesday should be a similar day with some sun and a few more clouds in the afternoon. Don’t forget to apply sunscreen and dress warm!

From Tuesday late afternoon through Thursday morning, we’ll see times of light snowfall as multiple weak storms move through Colorado. Because the storms will be weak and will lack moisture, I think snow amounts will be on the low side, but we might still be able to crank out a few inches. I love soft groomers with an inch or two of fresh snow on top, and I think we’ll see a morning with these conditions on Wednesday and/or Thursday. After this series of storms, we’ll see dry weather from Friday through next Monday, then the chances for snow will increase during the middle and end of next week.
