Update

Saturday was a classic spring day with highs in the 40s on the hill and 60s in town. And then a storm rolled in on Saturday night, dropped a quick 1-2 inches of snow, and now it’s chilly and snowy on Sunday morning. What happened to spring?!

During the day on Sunday, expect just about every type of weather. We’ll see light snow. We’ll see moderate snow. We’ll see bursts of intense snow. We’ll also see breaks of sunshine. Total snowfall through the day should amount to 2-4 inches, with a bit more if a few intense cells hit Steamboat.

After this system, we’ll see clearing skies on Sunday night, and then the weather should be dry, sunny, and warm through all of next week and through closing weekend, April 15-16. If you like spring skiing, you’ll love the next 7 days!
