Vail Daily Snow

Heads up, there may be fresher snow! Read the latest Vail Daily Snow

I hope you enjoyed the powder on Sunday morning! The weather during the day on Sunday was dry with a few breaks of sun, and then a period of heavier snow fell on Sunday night resulting in perhaps 3-4 inches. I think this snow may be a bit on the denser side as temperatures have warmed a few degrees on Sunday night, so expect to ski more ‘surfy’ snow on Monday rather than blower powder (no complaints though as snow is snow and it’s all super fun!). There could be another period of heavier snow on Monday morning, resulting in another few inches, so get out, investigate the terrain, and enjoy the powder stashes leftover from Sunday morning’s snow and enhanced by the new snow on Sunday night and Monday morning.

I think much of Monday late afternoon through Monday night will be on the drier side with times of lighter snow, then we should see somewhat heavier snow return from Tuesday midday through Wednesday morning as the wind blows from the northwest, which is a good direction for Vail. Following this storm, Thursday through Saturday should be dry, then we will see more snow from next Sunday through next Tuesday February 9th.
