Bomb Cyclone to Bring Wildfire Relief, High Elevation Snow, Rain, and Wind

Summary

The first series of strong fall storms is set to impact Washington this weekend through next week. A bomb cyclone coupled with an atmospheric river will bring heavy rain, vigorous winds, and high-elevation snow. After months of drought, this powerful storm will produce widespread weather whiplash, and hopefully extinguish several wildfires.
