Update

Friday was a beautiful spring day with lots of sunshine and a high temperature reaching about 40 degrees.

Compared to Friday, the weather on Saturday will likely be a few degrees warmer and the sky will also likely have a few more clouds.

Between Saturday night at midnight and Sunday at noon, expect a few hours of snow showers with 1-4 inches of accumulation. The fast-moving nature of this system should limit snow totals, though Winter Park is likely in a good spot (geographically) to get the higher side of the snowfall range. The timing could work out so that you’ll find a bit of fresh snow and soft groomers on Sunday morning.

Following dry weather from Sunday afternoon through Monday evening, another fast-moving storm will bring snow from late Monday night through Tuesday morning with 3-6 inches of snow likely accumulating by Tuesday late morning. I expect that you’ll find soft snow on the groomers and north-facing terrain on Tuesday morning.

After another stretch of dry weather from Tuesday afternoon through Thursday afternoon, we should see mixed weather from Thursday night through Saturday with times of dry skies and also a few periods of snow showers and more clouds.

The good news in the extended forecast is that a significant storm should bring snow between about Saturday night and the following Tuesday, and there could be powder on Sunday, Monday, and/or Tuesday (April 8-10th).

Thanks for reading and stay tuned for an update each morning!
