A little bit of snow this week

Summary

We'll see dry weather on Monday and Tuesday with a chance for a bit of snow (and colder temperatures) later Tuesday through Wednesday.

Update

Sunday was sunny and dry.

On Sunday night, temperatures were once again cold enough for snowmaking while the nearly full moon illuminated the mountain.

On Monday and Tuesday, the skies will be dry with temperatures rising into the 30s each day and some snowmaking possible at night.

From Tuesday night through Wednesday, a disjointed storm will move through Colorado. Our snowfall will be at most a few inches and likely less. The best part of this period will be colder temperatures that stay in the teens for most of Wednesday and Wednesday night. The colder temperatures will help snowmaking crews.

From Thursday through the end of November, snowfall chances will be very, very low. We might see a weak storm bring cooler temperatures and a few flakes over the weekend, but that's about it.

Looking far ahead, the longer-range outlooks continue to advertise a better chance for snow as we cross over into the month of December. But that's still 10+ days away and in the 'fantasy land' of weather forecasts.

Thanks for reading and please check back each morning for daily updates!
