Sunday was dry, mostly cloudy, and warm with a temperature around 30 degrees.

Now on Monday morning, the snow began to fall as the lifts started to spin.

On Monday, we could see snow throughout the day thanks to a cold front stalling near the mountain. If this happens, there could be 3-6+ inches of accumulation. However, this is a LOW CONFIDENCE forecast so keep your expectations low:-)

From Monday night through Tuesday night, another mechanism (the jet stream) could create a narrow band of intense snow which also could bring deeper totals to the mountain with 4-8+ inches of snow. However, again, this is a LOW CONFIDENCE forecast so keep your expectations low:-)

From later Tuesday through Wednesday, we could see light snow or a break in the snow altogether as the brunt of the storm moves into southern Colorado. There could still be leftover powder or at least soft conditions on Wednesday morning.

For the final part of the storm from Wednesday night into early Thursday, we should see another 2-4+ inches of snow as additional storm energy moves across Colorado. The timing of this snow should create soft/powder conditions on Thursday morning.

After all of this storminess, we should see dry weather on Friday, there could be light snow during the weekend of December 10-11, and then there will be a higher chance for more significant snow totals early the following week between around December 11-13.
