Cold with a side of snow

Summary

While I don't see any significant storms in the near future, conditions will be excellent thanks to a deep base, recent snowfall, and cold temperatures.

Update

Friday was dry with some sunshine, and then on Friday night, we received 1 inch of new snow thanks to a storm that tracked to the south of Colorado.

On Saturday we could see a bit of sunshine and plenty of snow showers with just light accumulation.

Then from later Sunday through Monday, the next storm should bring just light snow with maybe a dusting to a few inches of accumulation.

During the upcoming week, the theme will be "chilly" with a high temperature in the single digits and teens each day. Also, it's possible that a series of storms could bring (at least) light snow starting around Wednesday, January 25, however, I have low confidence in this part of the forecast.

Looking out toward the end of January, the atmosphere may reorganize and bring back a stormier weather pattern over the Rockies, but this is just educated speculation at this point and hopefully, we'll be able to pin down this forecast in another couple of days.
