Saturday (Mar 1)

Saturday will be sunny and warm with a high temperature of around 40°F.

Sunday (Mar 2)

Sunday will be partly sunny, dry, and still warm, with a high temperature of around 40°F. A compact storm will track to the south of Colorado and should not impact the forecast.

Monday (Mar 3) to Friday (Mar 7)

Two storms will bring snow next week.

The first storm should deliver snow from Monday night to Wednesday morning with 6-12 inches of accumulation. Tuesday will likely be the best powder day, with untouched snow in the morning and more snow falling during the day. Wednesday morning could also offer some snow if showers hang around on Tuesday night.

The second storm should deliver snow from Thursday to Saturday morning with another 4-10 inches of accumulation and maybe the best powder on Friday. I have lower confidence in the forecast for this storm because some of the latest data shows that it might track a little farther to the south. Stay tuned.

Saturday (Mar 8) to Sunday (Mar 9)

Next weekend should be dry and warm, with a break in the action.

Mid-March

The following week, snow will return, with one storm around Tuesday, March 11, to Wednesday, March 12, and another storm should arrive later that week, around Friday, March 14, and Saturday, March 15.
